Ingredients;
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt, ( and some for sprinkling on top)*optional
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter cubed
- 2 tablespoons of cold milk
Method;
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Add cheese, flour, and salt to a food processor and pulse till combined. add butter and pulse again till it's crumbly. Add milk, and pulse till dough forms.
- Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface. Roll as thin as possible into a rectangle then transfer to the pan.
- in the pan cut into 1inch squares. I used a pastry wheel to cut it and it made the process so easy, but a knife will work. Use a toothpick or the end of a chopstick to make the hole in the center of each cracker. Optional; sprinkle with more salt.
- Bake for 17-20 minutes, till a golden brown color is achieved. Let cool. Enjoy!
- Store in an airtight container.
